Welcome to YT! What you say is very familiar to me. I also had a big dog which I still miss very much. It took me 2 years as well to get another dog and was very new to the world of a small dog. We did the bell too!! They are such wonderful little dogs, and really so much easier to live with. You can take them or sneak them in to almost anyplace. They don't eat much or make big messes but are full of bigggg time love!!
