Congrats on your new puppy!!! I would reccomed waiting to pick your pup up until he is 10 -12 weeks old. 8 weeks is a little young to leave mom but if you do still get him, he will have special needs as far as feeding. You may need to use a wet food as well and I would soften his/her kibble AND leave hard kibble down for him/her to pick at too.

Always have nutri-cal on hand too!

As far which food, I sell and use only Life's Abundance dog food. VERY healthy and its an all life Stages ffod so my pups get it as well as my adults. I highly recommend it . Everyone will have thier own opinion though You can read about it here Life's Abundance Premium Natural Health Food for Dogs
