I have 3 other dogs and each took a different amount of time to accept Indy. My German Shepherd was scared to death at first, after about 2 weeks he started playing a little, now 4 months later they are the best of friends. My Golden is very elderly so she just wants to be left alone, I actually have to make her off limits to Indy because he is too rough with her. My Jack Russell Terrier is the wild card. She made it pretty clear at first that he was the intruder and she went after him alot. It took constant supervision with the 2 of them and it took about 2 months for her to not snap at Indy all the time. Now she will initiate play and it's OK until he gets a little rough, then she will go after him. I still supervise the 2 of them because I don't trust her, but for the most part she's better with Indy.
