i have no idea about verizon, but i have an iphone through at&t and the visual voicemail feature is one of my FAVORITE features. basically, you do not call in to check your voicemail anymore...there is a display on your phone that has a list of the phone numbers that have left you a voicemail, you select the phone number associated with the voicemail you want to listen to, and you listen to that one. you don't have to go through 4 voicemails to get to the 5th one...which is the only one you care to listen to anyway
get it?? it's really really nice. I HATE checking voicemail...but since I have had this feature, I have no problem with it. also, you can easily skip through the voicemail you are listening to and get straight to the middle or end if you want...and you can call the person back simply by touching a button that says "call back"...right in the middle of the voicemail. it's just very convenient.
now...i am describing the way it works on my iphone. not sure about the voyager but I do know that they have tried to make the voyager a lot like the iphone as far as features go...so maybe
