My dogs have always the hair pulled up... I try to comb it every day, and we use the little goody claws for every day, and bows for special occasions, I would love to have them with bows all the time but darn Juanito pulls Luna's out all day long, and if I just use the claws, he doesn't pull it...
I guess the point is comb it every day... even if you put it up again inmediatelly... and cut the grooming bands, not pull them out... We don't use gel, as I find they need a bath even sooner... maybe on special occasions.
