It just seems like the chapters are short and chock-full of stuff but he doesn't ramble so much like some authors. I keep saying... one more chapter, one more chapter but each new chapter sucks me in - maybe because I know it will be short and interesting - but then before I know it, I've blown through way more chapters than I had intended.
My dtr also mentioned she liked the short chapters. I confess I read one of his books in one night. Hubby goes to bed at 10 and since I don't have to go to work till 2 the next day I usu read till about 1 am. I am on London Bridges and dtr has the others waiting on me. I then will read the Women's murder club series. Thank goodness for used book stores.
