Ears will go up and down as they teeth... it helps to shave them to keep them lighter but around 6 months they will go up and down.
coat also is hard to tell.. the best way to tell is to take a picture without the flash.. if their eyes look red- usually a thick coat if they are green- usually a silky coat.
but again.. NONE Of this is guaranteed. Layla was 3 oz at birth- mom was 6 lbs, dad was 3, mom had a cotton coat, dad had a silky and she is now 6 lbs with a cotton coat and just perfect  |
I will be happy either way i was just curious. Mom is 10 pounds and dad is 4 1/2 pounds. I heard that theory of the eyes and the pictures. My mom is the one with the cotton coat and she has red eyes when her picture is taken. at birth the puppies were the following weight.
1st girl: 6 3/4 Oz.
2nd girl: 6 3/4 Oz.
3rd boy: 5 3/4 Oz.
4th boy: 4 1/2 Oz.
It will be interesting to see what they will look like..... more like mom?? Or more like dad??
