I tried the doggy litter in the doggy litter box, but my Yorkie as a pup just wanted to play with the litter. Now we use the potty pads (washable) in the litter box, and it is great!!! I have three wee ones that use the box and also go outside. The washable pads are great, and you don't have to worry about them tracking the little litter pellets all over the place. Or playing catch and release with them
