I have a breeder friend that had this situation come up and she was certain AKC had it wrong. She had to retest each male and several females to solve the mystery. At some point she or one of her helpers had mixed up two puppies and placed them into the wrong litters. It doesn't seem possible and she was certain it didn't happen....but it did. The other possibility is that more than one sire bred the Dam. The best thing to hope for would be that the other puppy was misplaced into the litter your puppy came from.
You will probably have to have your girl tested either way. Just pray that none of them has passed away after being bred.
I wish you the best. | I had that happen once too. Only it was me who did it. I thot I could figure out which puppy belonged to which mother but I had let too much time pass before I marked down the changes the puppies were going thru. I just sold them without papers. Sylvia |
