 Gabby was spayed yesterday!
Gabby, a 6 month old yorkipoo, was spayed yesterday. I drop her off at 8am and picked her up at 4pm. I was so nervouse but everything went well. I've never seen her so sad looking though, it made me want to cry. She slept most the evening, though I didn't sleep much, I was so worried about her. Today she is more herself, but still tired and moving slowly.
Couple questions for those that have been through this:
1) How do you know if they are in pain? She is not crying and seems to be fine. They told me to give her pain medicine before going to bed last night, which I did. And then once a day as needed. So far I haven't given it to her today. Do you think she is in pain?
2) How long should I keep her in a onsie? Last night I took it off and put the e-collar on her, so incase she needed to go potty (she sleeps in the kitchen and uses a potty pad during the night and when we are gone).
