Hi, Welcome to YT Dolly does need time to a adjust to her new surroundings. Maybe she had a bad experience in a bedroom. I'd also go with your first reaction to the breeding question. You might even want to consider spaying her too. It is healthier for them to be spayed and prevents things like tumors.
