grooming ..lots of groomers use enclosed cages to dry, nothing new.. When you work in a shop where volume is high, dogs must dry fast while others are brushed, clipped etc...
I always used a open 24x24..wire on all four sides and top, towel on bottom..and NEVER use anything but air.. LOW heat is okay if the cage is big enough for the dog to move when it is dry. The groomer must stay in the area and never leave the dog..you can work on another as that one dries, but you are right there with it...
I have been in shops where the driers are in a totally isolated place..rows of dogs are drying and the groomers have no clue what is going on...no wonder they find them dead.
PS..if you can not groom yourself..try an at home groomer who takes about 90 mins tops...and you can get your baby back home..although, many spent the day with me in the house area and went home after the owner got off work..but not penned all day..pets are not used to this and it is stressful.
