He did mention that facing me was a major factor in his turmoil. He knows I can take a LOT of things and with my Dad having recently died, on top of other major family issues, there are certain things that might just tip me over the edge.
But he adores his "little buddy" and we were each happy as clams after we sat down and realized what a close call that was. Maxwell has kept us laughing through some sad times.
