Apparently the theory is that most puppy K-9's will not fall out on their own and if left in will throw off the placement of the adult k-9's when they errupt.

In most instances this is not the case, I have left K-9s in on quite a few dogs and never had a problem with the bites.
If you want to remove it but are hesitant about putting them under, try this:
Run your thumb nail down in between the 2 K-9s putting pressure on the back K-9 which is the baby tooth. Move in the same direct in which the tooth is growing. (Easier to show then to describe!!!) Do this several times a day. This will help loosen the tooth so that it will fall out on its own.
