Okay so im not sure if this is natural or not after whelping, but is it? Peyton has been feeding her puppies and cleaning them and everything. Tomorrow they will be a week old. My question is, is it normal for her to want to leave her babies when they are sleeping? We left the gate off her whelping area to let her come in and out and she will get out and go upstairs to sleep by the fireplace. Is this normal after ONE week?
