Lots of good advice given already. I've always left a radio playing for my little guy and he knows that when I turn the radio on now, that's the signal that I'm going out and he crawls into his little bed and waits for me to leave.
Whatever you do, make sure that his bed/crate is a safe and comforting place for him. Never use it to punish a dog. Only give him love, praise and treats when he's in his bed. Best of luck to you and your furbaby. |
