I was about to ask the same question. I bath mine once a week but, with the marking problem I am having he stats to smell very quickly. Sometimes I have to bath him a couple times a week to keep the smell down. The spot cleaning does not work with him. I use Arbonne ( for humans) shampoo and conditioner and his coat seems to take it very well.
