So I must share this, wondering if anyone else has the same problem.

I got a letter from AKC telling me that my dogs Pedigree has been placed on "referral", I guess what this means is that someone just recently filed a complaint about Tiger Kennel or one of their registered Sires.

Now I must say, that Mike holds a very special place in my heart, I had talked to him only a few times and had bought several dogs from him.

Now, going back to the AKC issue. Well it has affected me since my dog Sired a litter, I kept a puppy and cant register it. According to Tracy/Referrals my dog and the whole family tree gets their AKC registration cancelled. (Revoked). I called AceYorkies and they said they have not received any letter about DNA being questioned-- he will speak to Mike's wife (fyi- you prob know this but Mike passed in Feb08).

So after asking a bunch of questions, AKC reps told me that the other dogs AKC certifications is on hold as well. Some people may not know it yet, perhaps if they try to transfer ownership it will come up. Now, not all dogs are affected, only the ones fathered by the mentioned in the complaint-- which Im sure its quiet a few.

any how, is anyone else getting this letters???
