From 8 weeks to 14 weeks, Triss was gaining quite fast. She went from 2 lbs even to 3 lbs even in that time. From 14 weeks to 17 weeks she only gained 2 ounces, at 3lbs 2 oz. The vet said she may just be getting to her size, and will probably top out at maybe 4 lbs by the time she is a year old. I was under the impression that she was going to be a 6-7 lb yorkie. But I could be wrong. Her mom was around 6-7 lbs and her dad was probably 4-5.

She eats good, gets exercise, is very healthy, and eliminates fine.

Does this sound right to you?
