Puppies are not plush toys. i have potty trained many dogs and yorkies have been the most difficult. (But probably not more than most small dogs.) Remember these first few months are very important months and what you do will determine this dogs whole life. My breeder would not even let me have my small girl until 4 months. My breeder thinks the "pack" has a lot to teach before you become the leader so your puppy is truly very young. Crate training is a must in my book. I would say 4 months as about old enough to hold their bladder thru the night. Also, most young puppies at about 2 months would walk right off a bed with a smile on their face. Beds actually are dangerous places for young puppies unless yours is on the floor. Hope the training is going better. |
