I don't blame you for being upset! I would be angry too, especially since the board had been asked to table the motion for further discussion. You know, neighborhood associations have their good points, but, having lived in several, they also have people who just don't have enough to do and they fulfill their lives by thinking up "new" rules for everyone else to live by!
We used to have a lady that rode around on her bike with a clipboard making notes as to who's flower gardens needed weeding.
I called her "The Wicked Witch of the West"!!
