Well, I don't know if this is momentous it's something I will never forget, and I know it's funny!
I was 20 and my dad thought it was ok for me to start driving my new car on my own (I asked for a stickshift car). I drove to work that morning, through Downtown LA traffic, with no incidents, and after work I headed to school. When I got there, I was driving up the inclined to the next parking level, when I saw my boyfriend grabbing a book form his car. I thought, "this is the perfect opportunity to show off my new skill!" I stopped in the middle of the incline, said hello, and then tried to drive off. I was still new at the clutch/gas thing, needles to say my car rolled back and then turned off....My boyfriend couldn't stop laughing, and I was so embarassed!!!!!
