Are you catching him while he is doing it and stop him? Give him a toy and get his mind off the table. I can't believe he is standing up and chewing on the edge. That little stinker. Are you walking him and wearing him out that is a great way to get him too tired to do things like that. I hope this helps or someone else has better suggestions. I had a wicker table that one of mine chewed. But we got them stopped by catching them and telling them NO- then taking them to do something else. It wasn't too long and it stopped however my wicker end table was already ruined. Good Luck.
