I tried putting Jack on the counter and it worked much better than him just on the floor when I was trimming his fur. It worked even better when my husband came and stood by..... kinda gave the feeling "alright we mean business" and giving him treats. But I found out that I am not good at trimming fur at all. I sure hope I can get someone to help me fix it so he doesn't have to walk around looking dumb. If I were him, I would have fired me. Hope things go better for you. Have you tried different color washcloths? I know it sounds dumb but he might have a color preference.
