OK, so this week (through Saturday, 8/2) CVS has their Kodak Picture Movie DVD's for $9.99, and you get back $9.99 ecb (that's a coupon to use in the store on anything, so basically, it's free). So I went through all the pictures everyone posted from the KC meetup as well as my own, and I picked and chose 60 of them that I wanted to use and I saved them to my hard drive (60 is the limit you can put on the dvd).
Anyhoo, I transferred those to a media card, and took them with me to the store, and had them put on the movie dvd. It makes a slideshow that is set to music. The song choices you get to choose from are limited, but I chose Dancing in the Streets.
OMG! It is such a kewl dvd, that it brought tears to my eyes watching it. If there was a way for me to post it online, I would, so you could all see it. But I wanted to share this info in case anyone wants to go out and do the same thing. It takes some time to do, but it isn't difficult, and it is basically free!
Naturally, you can use any 60 pictures--new baby, wedding, really cute yorkie
, etc.
