OMG I do derserve it. I think my soil needed something I just didn't give it. I put some compost on the top but that was after the fact and I don't think the soil was loose enough. I am going to do sooo much better next year. My herb garden is getting enlarged this weekend hopefully so I don't even think I'm going to attempt veggies again until next spring.

ETA- you don't even want to know the suffering my poor green beans and squash endured. The only thing that has survived my dedicated neglect is peppers.
