OUCH! poor baby! Yes as a few have mentioned here a temp of 104 is high.
WhenI took Lola to the vet for the same reason ,the vet told me that her temp was 101 it was normal and no signs of infection because of that.
I still continued the cabbage leaves on her a few times a day as instructed by the Vet and it helped alot. At first I could NOT get a single drop of milk to come out. She deffinately needs relief . All I can tell you is to keep trying to express milk a few times a day. It does not have to be much . The vet told me not to squeeze a whole lot because it would refill much quicker....

Do you have her on antibiotics? Lola had the really lumpy swollen breasts but I think it never got infected/Mastitis because she was already on Antibiotics..
