So sorry that little Sophie is having problems! We had a problem with Toto about a year ago and she was allergic to the dye in our new carpeting. She got a prescription, eye drops and we had to get the carpet cleaned. It cleared up and we didn't have another problem until July, this year. We began to notice her making a little "rattling" sound and thought it was coming from her chest. She was coughing and had a little runny nose. In reality, it was coming from her little sinus' and she got a prescription and it cleared up. With Toto's problems, it seems to be associated with something specific. This last bout, I believe was caused because we were home when I had a new heat pump installed and although they tried very hard to keep all the dust to a minimum, there was still some because of the hammering and installation of new ductwork, etc. Because I planned to also have one of the baths renovated while I was there I continued her medication and simply cleaned every day when the contractor finished. She seemed to be fine after a few days and we haven't had any more problems. Toto's really seemed to be triggered by "events".

Hope little Sophie will be feeling better soon! Please keep us updated.
