I didn't know that your pets weren't supposed to sleep in the bed with you! Since before I can remember I have had one kind of pet or another, a cat, my little Smooshie bunny, bird, and of course as many dogs as can fit!!!!! Matise weighed a little ofer 2 lbs. when we got him, 3 lbs. now but he has slept in the bed since day one. I am a light sleeper and so is my husband so I guess it is safer than us being heavy sleepers. But you know, Matise is a heavy sleeper and usually doesn't wake up when we move lucky for him!
