It "will" eat away the plaque but it is not an over night process. You have to use it continually but you WILL get results! I have a 10 year old pug I have on it and she has never had a professional cleaning and I can't brush her teeth. (she won't allow it! LOL)

Thats why I started to use it as well. I don't want to take my babies in and have them put under.

Of course every case is different, if her teeth are bothering her I'd have her checked of course. But this does work!
