Thanks for your reply. I am so excited but nervous at the same time. I think they will be close to the same size eventually, but I am nervous about them playing together now. My little girl is a ball of fire and loves to run and play all of the time (one of the reasons I thought she'd love a playmate). I am so afraid that she will "nip" at him too hard or get a little jealous - I just want things to go well. She loves other dogs and just loves to play with her toys all day - I think they will be fine, but I do appreciate your advice and I think you are right. I think short supervised playtimes will be best at the beginning until we see how things go. Any advice on how to handle the nipping if it gets too hard or will "nature handle it"? I know sometimes when she gets too excited she sometimes nips my toes and it hurts! Any ideas anyone?
