Izzy is on Petzlife gel and spray and we just use a piece of gauze (you can get at any drugstore) and wrap that around your finger and use. The toothbrushes, rubber fingers did not work on Izzy - her mouth was too small for all that stuff and she never minded me putting my finger in her mouth so this works out great for us.
