Toto has almost "mastered" the "stay" command ... so I can place her on a table and tell her to "stay" but I don't venture far away "just in case"! If it's the bed or sofa I always keep her a means to get down without leaping. I am so afraid of those tiny "knees" getting injured! They are sooo unpredictible, there is always the possibility that they will leap anyway! I have noticed that if she is up high and wants down she will always look for a safe way down before doing that "high jump"!
