My Pommie gulps his food the instant I allow him to go to his bowl. He's always starved, or so it seems. He would eat 2 cups of food if I allowed him to. I asked the vet the last time I was in if I was shorting him and she said that he felt well fed. So I have quite worrying about it. He was getting 1/2 c. morning and evening and she had me cut him back to 1/3 cup. He weighs about 6.8 lbs. My Yorkies each get 1/8 cup morning and evening and I still have one that is over weight. Go figure. Joanne
