Star Yet another puppy question. . .

Bella's puppies were born on July 16th. We are not giving them away until they are 10 to 12 weeks old. I have checked with the breeder who advised me that I should start weening them at three weeks old. I have researched on the Internet and seen several different answers - all the way up to 10 weeks old. If anyone could give me some help, I would really appreciate it. Also, when you introduce them to food, can they simultaneously continue nursing or do you just cut them off right then?

As always, I appreciate all the help from everyone.
