I've spent all morning tracking down the microchip, then the breeder, then the owner who, of course, has moved and did not update her microchip info. I went to the house where I "think" she lives and of course....no enclosed yard. Two cars in the driveway and no answer to ringing on the doorbell and banging on the door, so they are either asleep or away.
I do not want to take this little girl to the Humane Society, but I have to go out this afternoon and I would REALLY like to find the owner! Also called animal control in case there was a report and I'm about to call the Humane Society in two minutes when they open.
