It will to an extent. I would really suggest making sure you are using a good thickening shampoo and good protien rich conditioner for that too. Also, I was told a while back by a breeder that glucosamine works wonders for coat growth (as well as promoting joint health). I started using it to grow back a coat on one of my girls almost a year ago and it has worked wonders! I would suggest maybe supplementing her diet with that as well. (I alternate the two, flax oil one night, glucosamine the next.)
