...then why does my Yorkie have allergies
I've been to the vet twice in two weeks with regards to my Yorkies coughing, sinus and watery eye issues. At the first visit, the vet suggested it might be allergies, but to wait and see. At today's visit, she confirmed the allergy diagnosis and prescribed Benadryl. Daisy also has an ear infection, so I have antibiotic drops to use for a week or 10 days.
Both the vet and her receptionist were so SAD to diagnose allergies in such a young puppy. Apparently, her allergies will grow worse as she grows older.
I would appreciate hearing any stories of pups with allergies, what treatments you've done and how they are progressing!
