I have heard that saying too but no, I don't think so. There would have to be some kind of correlation to women for that to be true. I think the intention behind the words there means that once a purebred dog has mated with a dog of a different breed, the blood would be tainted and a cur could pop up in a future litter. I really don't think that is true, just an old wives tale. Sylvia
