It's extremely hot here too but my two don't get any hotter with their clothes on. Actually, I feel like them wearing something helps to protect them from the sun, especially Lacy as she is jet black on her back and that really attracts the sun's rays. GW Little just came out with an article today about dogs getting sunburned and how a t-shirt can help protect them. I also dress Lacy because she's itchy in the summer and wearing clothes stops her from scratching herself for the most part. Of course, I do mostly dress them just because I want to and enjoy it
