No, it is not true he will produce all of one sex if he has one testicle. Each testicle contains sperm of both sexes...if these things were so simple, a breeder could have one testicle removed and get only one sexed puppies..
Open fontental can be genetic...the size of the opening can be minor to serious..and I have rarely seem one in a Yorkie over 4 pounds..not that it can not occur, but more likely in the smaller Yorkies. It is not a death sentence or health concern as many vets say...I had a 3 pounder live for 14 yrs with a small one..it is all how big it is..good luck |

LOL I love your 2nd paragraph. It never even occurred to me to think that way.
I was wondering about the fontanel because I have a little girl who had one open for about a year and a half before it was finally gone. I thought that when they didn't close when they should that the fontanel would never close.
