I personally don't like to kennel, but they like it and I do feel in case of fire or other emergency that may happen in the middle of the night I would be able to locate all my babies and bring them to safety if need be. If I have a female about to whelp I do still retire to the spare room, so in the middle of the night they will be able to wake me in the event of puppies coming, this has worked great for me in the past. |
Sue I did so enjoy reading your post and Im with you 100% I slept with prudence on a mattress on the lounge floor for about 2 months for 2 reasons I didnt want her falling off the bed and I had the fire going (it was the middle of winter here) now she is in our bed.My husband is really understanding and If I had as many dogs as you I would do the same as you.I loved reading your post.
