I'm sorry you are having a problem.....Spraying with water..IMO isn't good...Might make him afraid of water...baths..etc.
We got Penny at 8 weeks...She loved her crate...but not the carrier...cried everytime....
Penny has never slept alone...she always sleeps with me....
But I made her crate like her special place...I covered the top with a big towel...Put her bed, toys, food,water, and a pee pad in there for her...(I got a big crate)
She has always liked it....She stays in it when we leave the house....I know she is safe....
I'm sure other will have ideas...Good Luck...He is still a baby.......to me they remind me of real babies...
