Double Whammy! On the July 16th I had to take Gizmo, my main sire, to the vet, he seemed to be having difficulties peeing. The vet said kidney stone and kept him. Later in the day my vet called and said "we have a problem!" The stone was lodged behind Gizmo's scrodum and he would have to be neutered to get to it. Do what you have to do! The vet removed a pea size stone and 92ml of urine. That's a lot considering Gizmo weighed 5.8 pounds on the 16th and 5.2 pounds on the 17th. Gizmo produced some really wonderful kids, many of which I couldn't part with which is why we have so many now. He is doing great now but will have to remain on urinary food the rest of his life, which is OK because he really likes it.
