You can't blame a dog for being a dog. I realize that as a dog person, as a parent, it can be a little harder to grasp when it's your child invovled.
I agree with you though...why was the child left unattended? Why did no one hear this attack? Where were the parents? Too many questions, not enough answers. |
My son was attacked by a rottie. Our Rottie so I understand and its devastating. Sorry about your daughter. My son came out ok...7 stiches and 3 large scars. Broke my heart I do not blame the breed but GOOD LORD everyone else did and it crushed me. He was, like you said, being a dog. He bit and yanked and I have NO idea where it would have went I was there tho...3 feet away and dove on the dog and restrained him. He gave up and was not in complete attack mode but I was dominant too...who knows had i not been there. I dont blame rotties tho. I love them.
OKay so we know its not breed related but poor lil lab after seeing video could he do this??? Man my heart breaks. For all.
Whats going on with the pug? He looks bigger than the lab!
I hope this one isnt shoved under a rug and passed off as dog attack. I really dont think thats all to the story.
