we are learning this in puppy classes right now...

to shake a paw - get him/her to sit first than put a treat to their nose (but don't let go of the treat yet), tickle the bottom of the paw you want him/her to lift and AS SOON as they do give them the treat!! Once they've done this a few times introduce the word you want to use (this paw, shake paw, that paw, other paw)... just be consistant and DON'T GIVE A TREAT IF YOU HAD TO LIFT THE PAW. It really works, Winston was doing it last night!

roll over we are still working on but basically you tell them to lay down (or what ever words you use for this) and than take the treat to their nose and lead their head with the treat so they have to roll over to get it.
