There's a How to Post pictures thread on the My Yorkies Forum. Try that if my instructions here don't help:
1. To post an avatar, size it to 75x75 pixels and open up your User CP. Click "Edit Avatar," then click "choose file." Find the picture on your desktop and upload. If it still says file is too large, try reducing you resolution to 72 dpi (if you have that choice).
2. To post full size pictures with your posts, size them to about 400 x 600 pixels (I can't remember the real limit, but that size has worked for me). After typing your message, scroll down to manage attachments. Select "Choose File," find your picture on your desktop, then click upload. Once it's done uploading, close window and post message. If it says picture(s) is/are too big, try reducing DPI first to 72. If that doesn't work, try downsizing your picture slightly.
Don't give it, once you get the hang of it, it's easy. And we want to see pictures!
