Yeah sometimes you get lucky. If you open up the phone, take the battery out and let it air dry usually it starts working after drying out. My daughter dropped hers in a bucket of bleach, lost all her music, etc. After a few days it started working again. Only thing that didn't is an issue with taking pictures. You can take them but the screen won't disply what you are taking a picture of until after you've taken it.
