 Hair Loss, Please Help!!
Hi Guys, I have a question. Do your yorkies lose hair on the top of the skull? I left my dog with my mom for 4 days and suddenly I noticed that Max has a huge round bold spot right on top of his head!!! I mean there is no hair on that quarter size spot! Just there though. The skin color is kind of spotty and patchy.
We are not sure if this is some kind of skin condition or b/c his hair was tied and he pull it out somehow or got caught somewhere. But his hair is tied in an "ouch-less cloth band", if it is ever tied. So I cut his hair on his head prett short to prevent more hair loss. What could be wrong with him??!! Or do they just naturally have a very weak and sensitive skin on their head? Should I take him to the docor? Please, someone help....
Also do you guys know what type of illnesses Yorkies are prone to? Please let me know. Thank you.
