I think a harness is more comfortable and safe for the tinier yorkies.I used to use a kitten harnee on my last yorkie, but this buddy belt is much easier to put on, you just put their front legs into the holes and fasten the buckle on the top.Our little girl is only 2.6 lbs and the size 2 fits her, there is even a smaller one.
